A real page turner! I enjoyed the messiness of all of the relationships along with exploration of some very hard hitting topics. It is often uncomfortable but still enjoyable and definitely one I will remember.

Phoebe is a professor, her husband has left her for another woman in the middle of COVID. They couldn’t get pregnant, the other woman has a baby.

Their cat, Henry dies and it’s just too much. Phoebe decides to kill herself. She goes to a Victorian expensive hotel to have her last room service and die. But there is a 6 day million dollar wedding at hotel and the bride can’t let her ruin her father’s last wish.

The story is very cliche. Everything happens as predicted, no twists. No unexpected revel ...more
