This is an excellent read. It read more like a novel than a textbook, I was able to visualize the story as the author progressed. There were many fascinating facts covered in it's pages. It also included some pop culture references and the audiobook had a outtake that made me smile.

If you are interest in the world around you and the creatures in it I highly recommend this read. It is so much better than a biology textbook. ...more
