2.5 stars…rounding down. Oh, I had high hopes for this book. High hopes that were thrown off a cliff and dashed on the rocks until they were tiny little mangled pieces not even resembling hopes. Let me tell you why this book didn’t work.

Maybe like 2.75 stars, rounding up...
I like the concept of the Sparrow Hill Road, it was original and it was really well written, but it did get very repetitive. I mean we get it, you like cheeseburgers and malts (and really, who doesn't). It didn't feel very novel like, more like a bunch of short stories slapped together (especially at the beginning), maybe that's what Seanan McGuire was going for, but it certainly wasn't what I was expecting. ...more
