How do you know that you're reading a YA dystopian? Well, you need a young girl with powers, a hot dark-haired guy that she loves and is loved by. You also need a hot blond guy that gives the author the opportunity to create a, circle, no square dilemma for our young character and the chance to grow into her power. Or at least that's what I expect in book three. Here I come...

I almost didn't pick up this book after I finished Shatter Me. Shatter Me was very hard for me to enjoy. I didn't connect with the main character, the writing style was very distracting at times, and it was hard to get excited about the plot.
I'm just glad I gave the sequel a chance.
This series will never be a top favorite of mine, but I will say that in Unravel Me, the story became much more interesting and the characters much more developed. They became more believable, as far as their motiva ...more
