I gave it a try, but I just found this too dense and impenetrable.

This was a recommendation after a buddy read of Morgan is My Name. Set in seventh-century Britain, this is in the grey zone between historical fiction and Fantasy, due to lack of source material for this early time in Britain. It’s historical fiction though, there are no Fantasy elements.
