Zach had been the steady point in my life. Not a force for good--I'd seen too much of what he'd done to believe that. But a force nonetheless. Continuing my theme I'm giving this a decimal star, 3.5, but rounding up.

I liked it and I liked the way that the plot you feel the book is about gets solved around halfway, like book one, revealing a further plot. I'm still annoyed with the disregard of twins from the previous book but in this one the evil twins are trying to deal with the problem in a more sensible (mighty evil) strategy.

There was a continuity error right near the end, hence my spoiler tag, that really annoyed me despite it be
