** My 500th review posted on Goodreads :) **

So I'm kind of mixed on this book. On the one hand, I loved the pacing and forward momentum of the story, which kept events feeling really exciting. On the other hand, I wasn't feeling much for the actual characters themselves, and so I felt like the story lacked emotional depth. The overall result was a little...unsatisfying.

I did like the writing, and I still want to try some of Graudin's other books. I enjoyed Invictus well enough while I was readin

Entertaining, if a bit light on characterisation and technical details (which I’m ok with, really). Fast paced and diverse.

I enjoyed the premise and concept of this book most of all- a boy is born on a time traveling ship in between jumping from the past into the future. So he really doesn't have a birthdate. If you don't have a birthdate, what does that do to the fabric of time? I really enjoyed all the discussions of time travel and the ethics behind it.

The time travel adventures the crew of the Invictus takes were also really fun t
