4.5* re-read #readchristie2024

I love re-reading her work as a rule, but this one was special as I paid particular attention to how she lead us on, and it was fascinating.

This novel is also where the author invented the character that would become Miss Marple, and she was my f

This is one of the biggie Christie books - it's so good, and it is memorable. I'd read it years ago and remembered the overall plot - it was fun to read it this time with more open eyes. Still a great mystery - one of her best. ...more

First time reading an Agatha Christie novel. I had heard about the premise and wanted to see what an almost 100 year old famous whodunit was like.

I thoroughly enjoyed it and its amazing how well it stands the test of time. Looking forward to seeing how it got translated to the big screen.
