It took me 27 days to listen to this but it is my favorite of the series so far. These audiobooks are just fantastic. Davina Porter is an amazing narrator and just perfect for these books.
Read it in German back around 1997, after it was translated for the first time and liked it.
This was the second time I read this book - I enjoyed it more the first time. Still, Jaimie and Claire are one of the best, memorable romances I've read.

Book 3 in the series is non-stop action. I loved every minute of it!! This one had the feel of the original Outlander, except of course that Jaime and Claire are much older. I can't reveal much for fear of spoiling, but I will say that fans of Outlander will not be disappointed.
