This concludes the story started in the Epic Crush of Genie Lo, and does so brilliantly.

Genie is now the Shouhushen of the Kingdom of California, and responsible for hordes of demons now living on Earth. Guanyin and Quentin help, but when the Jade Emperor himself goes missing in the face of a new supernatural danger from across the planes of existence, they all get drawn into a mission of immortals to save the universe.

An action-packed, funny, poignant and wonderful finish to Genie's story.
There are countless problems in Genie's life: 1) a whole host of demons she's trying to keep corralled on Earth and relatively content, 2) where to go to university, 3) how to pay for university, and 4) an unexpected and frightening situation in her family. How Genie deals with everything, including a newly strained relationship with Quentin, is great to watch.
Because this is Genie, she gets to punch some of her problems.
