What Members Thought
Who could resist that cover? I know, plenty, but not me, and I’m pleased I read this since it turned out to be a really good fantasy, ‘cozy’, yes, and yet dealing with important topics and high stakes.
I did have to get accustomed to the present tense but soon enough, I forgot about it, following Miyara’s adventure. Although totally different and much more naive, she kept reminding me of Kettricken in Farseer, especially in her understanding of ‘serving her people’.
