Wow. Julie Lessman sure knows how to write complex.
Even when I knew for certain how A Light in the Window would end... you know, since I’ve read and adored every book Julie’s written about the hero and heroine’s six children... the complexities of the plot, the roller-coaster of emotions, the love triangles… all had me constantly clutching at the edge of my seat. So much so that I often had to put the book down… just to breathe. I’ve had to do this with every single one of her books though, so ...more

“Sigh”. That was the sound you heard when I finished this book. I was sad to see it end. It was like most of the Julie Lessman books that I have read, but with a gentler touch as far as the edginess of her other books. I absolutely loved it! I loved her other books in the series and throughly enjoyed reading about how Marcie and Patrick met and fell in love.

An amazing, wonderful story!
For those of us who are Julie Lessman readers know who Marceline Murphy will marry. But somehow this author created enough suspense that I could not stop reading! And I could not stop crying at the end! Outstanding!
And if you're skeptical about ebook quality, you'll be surprised and pleased to know A Light in the Window is just as wonderful as all Julie's books! ...more
