6.0 stars. This book is a MASTERPIECE and will likely be on my list of "All Time Favorite" novels before too long (though I always try and wait a little while after reading the book to see how long it stays with me).

It took me until my 3rd read through to love this book. I re-read it because I could not quite put my finger on what my issue was with it. There was not ACTUALLY anything wrong with the book; the writing was wonderful, the topic interesting, the story itself good. What I finally decided was that I needed to stop reading it as a woman and instead read it as a person (I hope that makes sense - what I am trying to convey).
