What Members Thought
The first 2/3 of the book were captivating: a quest fantasy of sorts set at the tail end of the Catholic reconquering of Islamic Spain in 1492, with some great historical detail and a light touch of fantasy. In the third 1/3, the story lost a lot of its steam and its focus.
