I guess I'd have to say it's historical fiction. It takes place post VietNam war. Tobin is the neighborhood nerd who is obsessed with Bigfoot due to the alleged sightings in the area. Lemonade Liberty Witt is from San Francisco and has been placed in her estranged Grandfather's custody. She is savvy, street smart and joins Tobin in seeking out Bigfoot. It is a really sweet story, a little predictable, with a satisfying ending. ...more

This book was so sweet and showcased many relatable topics throughout its plot: friendship, lose, love, moving to a new place, finding the positive, adventure, and of course- the elusive thought of big foot! I can’t wait to recommend this to my students next year!
