A delightful addition to the Clementine series featuring an interesting variation on "Student of the Week." ...more

The narrator for Clementine is absolutely perfect, perky and expressive. Clementine is chosen as friend of the week and asks her best friend, Margaret, for tips on how to get the best comments in her friend of the week book. As always, with Clementine, her heart is in the right place, but things always go wrong. At times, the story is sad, when her cat , Moisturizer, is lost. Great story. I think I will order the audio for school, too.

Another excellent entry into the continuing year of Clementine. Being chosen as the Friend of the Week sets off an eventful few days in the life of Clementine, who gets advice from her neighbor on how to curry favor with her classmates so that they will write nice things in her book at the end of the week, with the usual funny and not-too-contrived ending.

Clementine is chosen to be "Friend of the Week" in her classroom.
She tries hard to do nice things to her classmates so that they will say nice things about her in the booklet.
She gets in a fight with her friend Margaret. Her friends come to her rescue when she loses her new kitty.
Another funny Clementine story.

Not nearly as good as previous Clementine books, but these parents are still the best parents since Katherine and Myron Krupnik.

Probably my favorite of the four books. Pennypacker adds depth to ALL the characters.

The latest entry in the series lacks a lot of the humor of earlier entries, but none of the heart. This is a warm and loving tribute to friends--of the 2- and 4-legged variety. Sweet.
