So much to love about this book! We can start with the story's POV of the fictional Mars Rover Resilience (based on the real rovers Curiosity and Perseverance). Then comes the double storyline provided by letters written to the rover by the daughter of one of the scientists (a Muslim-American woman...REPRESENT!) over the course of decades. I liked the personalities of Fly, Guardian and Res. I think this book could inspire readers to learn more about Mars.

A very enjoyable and quick read, told from the perspective of a rover built to explore the surface of Mars (and who starts to take on some human qualities like hope and wonder).

This is adorable. I didn’t know I could love a robot as much as I love Res.
