All Mark wanted was a Dog, but his Mom wouldn’t let him have one, even though most of his friends did. Finally, Mark gets the courage to ask the city council for a dog park, and Buddy escapes from the old lady who doesn’t play with him. If I could give this book more than 5 stars, I would. Beautifully written! Although this is an overused word, this is definitely a sweet book. But beware, if your child reads this book, he/she will probably ask for a dog.
