This was a great read. I thought this book was not as good as the first one, Red Queen. The writing was really good and enjoyable. However, I thought that Mare was more annoying than in the first book and I felt frustrated with her. I did not like how selfish she was acting. I still love Cal!!! He is the perfect lead male character. Maven is an okay character for me. The ending was my favourite part. It was intense. I was saddened by (view spoiler)

Not entirely able to process the ending oh my gosh. So many plot twists, so much death and so much ruining my ships but it's really okay because i love this series a lot
