I really wanted to like this book but I just didn't enjoy it as much. Ended up skipping too many chapter in the middle to know how it ends.

I took a month to read this bad boy but that doesn't mean it is a slow read. As fabled, the book is not what you would call mainstream literature. It is the story of a man unable to read a book because he is being interrupted by one reason or the other. And every time he starts reading, it is a new book. So, this book is just filled by the first chapters of books that could have been amazing books in themselves.

Classic Calvino flavor in the storyline.

It's like someone had kept track of all the thoughts of the author, while he smoked a really good strain.
And then added author's notes to make the reading entertaining/sensible.
