Okay! This is probably one of my most favorite series now. This book has an over flowing jam-packed-superhero-power-twist-and-action rolled into one. The only thing I don't like about this book is it is a DAMN CLIFFHANGER!!! Argh! Seriously?? 2014, what month exactly?? Kelly was trying to kill me. And I'm seriously dyig to know what will happen next! Argh!

So this book was sitting in my reader in just one day. And as soon as I finished reading the Iron Fey series (including the mini sequels) I gr Okay! This is probably one of my most favorite series now. This book has an over flowing jam-packed-superhero-power-twist-and-action rolled into one. The only thing I don't like about this book is it is a DAMN CLIFFHANGER!!! Argh! Seriously?? 2014, what month exactly?? Kelly was trying to kill me. And I'm seriously dyig to know what will happen next! Argh!

So this book was sitting in my reader in just one day. And as soon as I finished reading the Iron Fey series (including the mini sequels) I grabbed my reader and decided to start with it right at that moment. And I haven't had a luck in putting it down. I was totally consumed by it.

The story started as light, but as the story continues, the setting sets to be more interesting. I admit there are moments that I find Ryan as an annoying boyfriend, I was laughing out loud when he was insisting Jamie to be a super hero, hahhahha! He was so eager about it. But he was totally a lovable BF for me. There are times the love story was all too cheesy for me. And I sometimes caught myslef murmuring.. "Okay that was too cheesy", but there are moments, I say.. "Ahhh.. that was so romantic." So yeah, I do not know if I am a fun of the romance here but after the damn cliffhanger? I was wondering what will happen to Ryan and Jamie love story. It was like I wanted to hit my head on the wall and ask myself... WHY ON HELL DID I READ IT WITHOUT WAITING FOR THE THIRD BOOK TO COME OUT? And now, I need to wait for I do not know how long. *Sigh* Enough! I am blubbing now for so long about the cliffhanger thing. Sorry about that. So, as for Jamie, I was so happy how she changed into a loving and caring person after being the ICE QUEEN . She might still have a lot of temper, but she's definitely learning to control it. I love how the author manage not to make the protagonist way so perfect. She has her flaws. And I like it so much that I started to idolize her in some way. I was just so torn on how it turns out in the end. I mean, I never see it coming, the ending suprised me a lot that my toes are curling with anticipation. But I can't think of any other way to end this book. So, YES, as much as it is hard for me to say this, the ending was great. A great way to end it infact if you will ask me.

The love triangle, I am really eager to share this. I was actually caught off guard when I learned some things about Teddy. I actually took the love triangle lightly because I was actually picturing Teddy's love for Jamie as an infatuation kind of love. Because admit it, Jamie sees him as brother. And I never considered him as threat, but an ally. Guess I was wrong? Hahahhahha. I don't want to be a spoiler in here, but I definitely can't contain how much dissapointed I was of Teddy. I thought he has such a potential of being a great side kick but guess I was wrong. So there! It makes me more than eager to read the third sequel. I am really considering a lot of scenario on what will happen in the next book. It was definitely one of my most anticipated books for this year!

Una secuela divertida, con mucha acción y superpoderes. Con momentos dulces, entretenidos y dramáticos.

La segunda mitad del libro fue la que más me gustó, me tuvo mordiéndome las uñas y queriendo leer apresurada para saber qué pasaría. Las últimas páginas están llenas de adrenalina y traiciones, con momentos desgarradores que me tuvieron asustada y sufriendo. Y necesitando YA MISMO leer el siguiente libro después de ese final de infarto.

Jamie explodes Visticorp and effing LOSES HER MEMORY! Then Teddy shows up and pretends to be her effing fiance and kisses her...like WHAT! That kid needs a serious whack upside the head...a really hard one!

So she becomes a superhero of sorts! So awesome and nice of her. The police are just jealous jerks.
Ryan is so cute as usual. He proposes to Jamie! At the Grand Canyon! such a soulful moment. He is so supportive and such a strong person. Teddy's all like "He is so typical blah blah blah football players blah blah" and normally I would agree....but Ryan's personality is not normal. If Teddy even BOTHERED to pay attention to Ryan's personality he would see that Ryan is 0% of the Jerk A-hole Teddy is. Pfft and Teddy's like "We belong together Jamie! Ryan isn't worthy of you. He's a typical All-American boy. You can do so much better than him. I am here for you!" Ryan is sweet and loving and always puts Jamie's needs/feelings first. Teddy didn't give a crap about her feelings for Ryan so therefore he is very selfish. Ryan brings out the best in Jamie. Teddy just brings out her sassy side...and for the record, he brings out my bad side. If he were in front of me right now I would smack him into tomorrow!....Yeah I'm really hyped up right now.
I was so proud every time Jamie told him off! I was like "you go girl! Don't even feel bad for him just keep rubbing your and Ryan's love for each other in his face! Yeah!"
It's not even a love triangle. It's love with all the crappy stuff (Teddy) tossed aside. The funny thing is that when they first met him he seemed so nice and I thought he was gonna fall for Becky. Then he pulled off that "She's a typical cheerleader" crap. I hate him so much! This is the second villain that fools the readers into thinking he is kind and his only goal is to help. Speaking of which....when he was supposedly "researching" Visticorp he had all the info at his disposal but he didn't tell Jamie anything on purpose. I don't know why he would want to be with her after she clearly hates him...I mean when Visticorp told him "oh you can have her if you bring her to us". Jamie it's time to seriously bust out that lightning! He also reminds me of Blake from Jennifer L. Armentrout's "Obsidian" series.
Carter. I grew to like this guy even more...mostly. But still he pulled a stupid move to help Jamie...so that earned him some cool points with me.
Becky is so nice and I am glad she finally discovered the truth. I really wish we got to see more of her though. I hope we do in the next book.
Speaking of Becky....wow was Mike chivalrous in this book. Glad he really regretted his actions toward Becky and I am glad he was so guilt-ridden that he turned himself in. I am also glad that Ryan found out about it but still forgave him. The thing is, he was so sorry that he deserved forgiveness, otherwise he wouldn't. He has to earn it from Becky though. Really earn it. He didn't seem too freaked out when he figured everything out with Jamie. Good for him. Hopefully he doesn't pull any stupid stunts and alert Visticorp to his knowledge of Jamie's powers.
Ryan's parents found out about Jamie. I really like his parents! they're such nice people and so chill. I am so happy of how supportive they were of Ryan and Jamie.
Jamie's parents are really awesome. It was sad that she had to leave them. I really hope she gets her memory back soon because I don't know how long my teeth will survive my clenched jaw every second she is with Teddy and a blank memory. Also she needs it back so she can round up all those people she saved, Ryan, her parents, and Carter so they can go to that secluded island they planned to acquire. and while they head there, they can throw Teddy to the sharks in the middle of the ocean **evil grin**
Also what kind of fake identities are Antonio Stark and April O'Neill? seriously that's not secret....it will just attract attention and that is not creative AT ALL! Way to be smart Teddy.
But seriously with the secret identity thing, I was expecting her to get a new hair cut, dye it, new contacts...anything really! not just a new name.
Also...dare I say....I think it may have been better to trust Mr. Edwards than Teddy....I wonder if he was sincere about helping them....hmmm maybe that will come into play in the next book
That I WILL be reading ASAP!!! such a cliffhanger! I don't if you guys can tell from my ranting, but I am really excited and I have so many emotions right now. I need the next book now!!!
Anyways, read this series!!!!!!
If you read this review first then you already know what is gonna happen. That sucks but you should still read it!! It evokes so many feelings :D Kelly Oram you have a gift! ...more

Jamie's back and she's better than ever! After the perfect ending of Being Jamie Baker I must admit I wasn't a hundred perfect sure what kind of storyline to expect from it's sequel. I was definitely excited to read more of Jamie and Ryan and I was certain Kelly Oram would have some kind of excellent storyline planned, but I have to say More Than Jamie Baker was even more exciting than I was expecting. It certainly gave the first book a run for it's money in the danger and high stakes department!

With Jamie and Ryan now in collage and having been together for more than a year, I'm really thrilled with how this series is progressing. Oram is steadily building on her base plotline, introducing new characters and new dangers with plenty of twists and developments you won't see coming!

Jamie is still the feisty, electric (pun totally intended!) and kick-ass character she was in the first book, however now she is entirely comfortable in her own skin and is in complete control of her powers thanks to the extensive practice Ryan has put her through. Now in collage, Jamie has formed a strong and powerful friendship with Becky since the conclusion of the first book and is still deliriously in love with Ryan. She's very happy and content for the first time in a long time, until a tragic accident she chooses not to prevent forces her to re-think keeping her abilities a secret and now helping people.

Honestly, I just adore Jamie. She's extremely intelligent and sassy and I just love her attitude. She's really feisty, and her sarcastic nature make for some awesome one-liners throughout the novel. Jamie has really grown a lot since we first met her in Being Jamie Baker and has only become a better character and person since then. I still love how deeply she loves her family and Ryan and must commend her for some of the hard choices she made in this book--even if she broke my heart making them!

Ryan is still his ever dedicated self and is still completely devoted to Jamie. He adores her as much as she adores him and continues to support her every step of the way. I just love Ryan--he brings so much joy to the book. He and Jamie are just perfect for each other and I love reading how committed they are to each other. Oram throws some interesting hurdles in for their relationship in More Than Jamie Baker; some of which seem to be resolved, but others not.

New characters change the course of the series, and as Jamie's life is turned upside down by those who want to catch and experiment on her, Kelly Oram writes in some shocking developments. The final few chapters will quite literally leave you holding your breath and the ending is completely out of this world! I guarantee that this cliffhanger will leave you shocked out of your skin and praying that there must be more.

Hmmm.... Jamie baker #2. Wasn't really what I expected.. It started off okay, introduced a shady character who I would have liked if he hadn't been hell bent on stealing jamie away from ryan. And it was kinda annoying how jamie kept on crying every single chance she got (like that was a new super power or something).
