I really dislike this book. First - I hate the format (difficult to hold and read at story time.; Difficult to turn page one-handed; defies learning script and books move from left to right-it is probably supposed to be creative but doesn't work for me) If the message is supposed to combat selfishness and greed it falls apart when they are talking to one another and don't drop the bone. If the author/illustrator is going to bend the realism then have the dog set the bone down and put his paw on
