Another classic book finished .. Yay .. and it was very good. Portraying a kid's life in a southern town during 1930's or 40's which was full of racism etc. and the efforts of their single father to help them see the world in a better light.

I loved the book. Definitely worth reading and all the accolades it got.

People who don't read generally ask me my reasons for reading. Simply put I just love reading and so to that end I have made it my motto to just Keep on Reading. I love to read everything

This is a book I had seen around forever and never read. Then I was given a $50.00 gift card to barnes and noble, and I thought now was as good a time as any.

I must say, I liked it. It reflects a simpler time and therefore was a simple read. Everything is straight forward and the adventures are exhilarating and interesting. Mind you now, when I say simpler times, I don't necessarily mean it as a good thing. I mean it more as people played the roles they thought they had to.
