What Members Thought

Some books are just so damn good that they leave an imprint. This book was another such example. It's a love story but not your typical story. Someone dies but again unlike the way you might have read before. Me Before You is a character study which shows us the growth of main character Lou or Louisa . The book shows the how Lou grows from a girl who has imprisoned herself in a prison of her own making and refuses to leave the small scottish town she lives in. When she loses her job in the cafe

I had picked this up because I thought this was a romantic story and generally, I have struggled with this genre in the past. I wanted to challenge myself and see whether I can enjoy it. I have found out that I can. Although through midway, I was going to leave it unfinished but Will Traynor pushed me. And I wasn't disappointed .

YES, i cried reading this book. But not like i cried when Dumbledore died and my parents came running to my room , hearing me shout why why?. I love the book and this is different because it is not anything like a usual love story.

When i started reading this book i didn't know what to expect...this book was hard to read not because it wasn't good but because it was heartbreaking. It made me realize that in life some choices aren't ours to make no matter how much it hurts.

Wow, what a story! I absolutely loved this book! The relationship that the author created between Louisa and Will is unlike any other I have read, and the other characters were also so well written, Nathan, Treena, both sets of parents, etc... This is a story I will not ever forget.
