Even the prologue is moving

Emotional read. loved Declan, sexy Alpha fighting Brit, walks with swagger and pleasing to a ladys eye, has the V and tats ( oh yeah) bring it on we love that in our Alphas.

This fighter, stings like a bee and has a heart like a beautiful butterfly.

4.5 " Dragonfly & unicorn" stars!!

Prologue, and the author didn't pull any punches, my heart was already in pieces. I got sucked into the story.

Elizabeth. The girl from the wrong side of the tracks. Once, she was young, impressionable and eager to make friends. She craved to be accepted and to belong. But she found out the hard way that life wasn't all roses and unicorns. Years later and she lived her life with specific rules and always in control. Nobody was given the chance to get close enoug

Declan. A fighter with enough sex appeal to blow up a building. Ripped, popular, a face that could give you a whiplash and an English accent to die for. All qualities she warned herself to stay away from. Yet she felt safe with him.

Kindness. Such a simple word. But it was what they wanted and got from each other. Together, they learned how to be young and carefree again, to have fun, be silly, be spontaneous. They were kindred spirits, looking for the same thing but were too afraid to try. Both carried scars from their past, both avoiding serious commitments, but for different reasons.

I must say that Declan surprised me, but in a good way. He was truly swoon-worthy but not only due to his good looks and physique or for being a fighter. You need to read this to know what I'm talking about. He was totally and utterly adorable!

Dirty English was more than just a love story. It was about grief, self-discovery and hope for two people from different worlds who were learning how to heal and move on from their past.

I appreciate the pacing of the story, nothing was rushed nor dragged unnecessarily. The story had the right elements without being overly dramatic or boring. In a much saturated market of playboys and victims, this was a welcome relief.

There were secondary characters worth mentioning and deserve their own books. Shelley, Elizabeth's best friend, a privileged rich girl with a heart of gold. Dax, Declan's twin brother (Yes, double hotties no less!) who was just as delectable, seems like he has a good story to tell.

4.5 DIRTY FREAKIN' FABULOUS. I definitely recommend this one. You don't want this one was to slip you by. It its full of sexy-swoon worthy moments with angst and humorous elments tied to one sweet dirty package. This was a quick sweet read. It's a story about a girl who is broken but yet still very strong and a very sexy underground fighter. I loved Declan from the beginning. He had such a kind loving soul that Elizabeth saw immediately. I have strayed away from ya books but these characters did seem a little more mature than their ages so I did enjoy the story.

Loved the story. The story of pride and prejudice. Elizabeth. Bennett a insecure poor girl goes to Whitman college with a full ride scholarship tries to forget her past and tries to fit in. This book was so good, I loved every minute of it. I really enjoyed watching them both come out of the shells they were in. Granted hers was. bit different, but it was good to watch their relationship bloom. The story was a good one and since this was the first book by this author, it has made me want to read much more of her works.
