4.5 gut retching stars! This is not your normal romance! It's dark, twisted, scary, graphically detailed and I loved it! The emotion was so profound it sucked me right in. It’s emotionally raw and dark. Totally f*#*king good! This is one if those books you question your morality for loving so much. Awesome job T.M.F. I DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THIS READ. I’m off to read the sequel. I get the feeling it’s going to be soooooo good🤩.

I really enjoyed this book. I started the King series first and when I realized that the author had a previous book about two of the characters making an appearance in the King series I had to read it. I fell further in love with Jake and Abby or (Bee) like Jake calls his soulmate. My only complain will be that I want to know about what Jake was up to for those four years. I missed Jake's point of view but overall I really enjoyed the book and am in love with the King series.

5 GOOD,BAD,LIGHT AND DARK STARS
Firstly I sort of went backwards and read this after King,Tyrant and lawless being a standalone it didn't matter Jake had brief encounters in these books which peaked my interest and I wanted to know who he was and, OMG!
To say I loved Jake is an understatement from the very beginning of Jake's story it grips you, his own father taking an axe to him the life he is forced to lead the darkness and danger that surrounds Jake, a contract killer but as the plot unfolds y ...more

This book.....i wanted to kiss and hug it. Then i wanted to throw it and rip it into a million little pieces, then i wanted to put it back together again with tears in my eyes. I loved it. Such a roller coaster. And the best part, you just don't know what will happen next. It's unpredictable. It's perfect!

Loved the book, loved the darkness. He was so f'cked up, she was pretty out of it too (understandable given her upbringing) and it was refreshing! It was pretty perfect, except for the insta-love. They've known each other for maybe 2 weeks. What did he see in her in those weeks to make him fall head over heels? I just didn't get it. The build-up is almost always my favorite part, and I felt like it was over too soon. Other than that - LOVE! ...more
