Firstly cliffhanger so I cannot get a full picture yet on how this is going to go

It was frustrating and confusing I just couldn't get my head around the relationship it was odd to say the least and I was frustrated by the lack of backbone from Lake.

This isn't another "I hate you because I secretly love you" story. Boy really does hate girl. And this isn't just a forbidden love story. This is obsession at its darkest.

A work of disgusting, disturbing, emotional art

Woah. Talk about an insane read and mixed feelings. I couldn’t stop reading, even when I was so disgusted I wanted to throw the book away. I was angry at Kieran for being such a terrible person. I was angry at Lake for not standing up for herself and staying silent. I was disturbed by her giving into him so easily or at all. DNF. I just couldn’t do it. When a dark romance book makes you want to giggle and roll your eyes more than it excites or consumes you then you know that it’s not for you.

If someone gave me this book to read without telling me who the author is, my first guess would have been Penelope Douglas.
