ACTION PACKED!

Ok so this book reminds me of a film called TAKEN the scenario is the same, young girl goes to paris gets snatched by human traffickers but there's no William Neilson the outcome is different and Liv is definitely not his daughter.

I enjoyed it, lots of action not as hot as I would of liked but the age gap did make me feel uncomfortable for some reason, I kept seeing Liv as a young girl maybe it was her meekness I'm not sure because she was 18, maybe it was her reference early on in the book about Max being an older man? I don't know but anyway yes not hot hot hot but did contain some for those who love a good sex scene and it was balanced out just right.

Max's character I thought it was a strange combination going from Mafia involvement to being a Gymnastics teacher but I went along for the ride and enjoyed the action.

I liked the characters, Max with his mystery background now a gymnast teacher and ending up being a bit of an action man hero on the side and Liv with her excitement just starting off the in the world with her first trip abroad and going to Gymnast school in Paris.

Stolen from the hit man is told in dual pov's so you get the full experience of what each character is feeling and thinking which leads you to a hea.

Liv (Olivia) is an innocent young lady who is a through and through athlete and awesome gymnast. She is at this dinner with her parents when she feels like she is being watched. Of course she is, this is after all a recruiting dinner. But what catches her eye from down the table is a handsomely dark and brooding looking man, but one that knows and sees what he needs to see. She is honored and her interest is piqued with him. Could he be her teacher? Can he be more of a teacher to her in ways other than gymnastic?

On the plane going to Paris for training, she talks with Will (a scummy dirtbag who oozes "charm" but is a little to smarmy all around) and when he gets a little too fresh with Liv they have landed and she goes to meet his new roommate and place she will be staying. She can't help but wonder what happened that this Will character felt he could be so forward, and if she will ever see him/hear from him again. Her roommate Maggie is there and a bundle of happiness. They decide it is their first day/evening in Paris and Maggie talks Liv into some sight-seeing and going out later to a bar to dance and let loose a little. Will stalks (no real other way to describe his skankiness) Liv and gets her phone number (not because she gave it to him though) and they are invited to a party at a club from him. Against Liv's gut feeling they go. Then there is something that happens that sets the whole pace for what is about to happen.

Why can Liv not remember the night before? Why are they not in their apartment in Paris? She doesn't know where she is, but she starts to move around and Maggie is with her, but briefly. Will and his friends are up to something, very very dark and sinister....and worst of all against both Maggie's and Liv's will. Max is at the place where all the students are to show up to start training. Odd there are two (the most potential two that is) ladies not there. Well he is having NONE of this. Could they have jet lag and slept through their alarms? Do they realize how important this is? He decides to go to their place and round them up. When he is able to get inside their apartment, he notices it looks like they basically had just arrived still with no sign of them. His gut is telling him this is not right and there is something up. He has connections from his dark past and decides to follow his gut. Good thing too.

Unfortunately his gut was right, this is not good. He recognizes certain patterns he is quite familiar with and now he is on the hunt. He finds Liv, and from there he rescues her, and the world changes for both of them at that point. There is quite a roller coaster ride that follows, with a few unseen and a few see through the smoke screen twists and turns on that roller coaster ride. The entire time you are going to be glued to what is happening with Max and Liv. Oh my gosh it is too good to put down. You really need to read this delicious book. Even when you think you are reading about their "end" of the book (I think there is more of them to come) there are twists....Yum!!! ...more
