El Santo swallowed me whole.
From the first pages I was gripped by the intensity, the darkness, the scenes that made me squirm, it sucked me in and even now I have finished I feel like I can't let go.

Another 5 star read. The depth of the characters and the emotions that this books rips out of you are intense. This is a dark romance interwoven with a deep love story and as a Cuban descendant I could appreciate the pain and agony the people of Cuba have endured under Communist regimes. My love of history, mixed with enjoyment of dark romance had this book touching me personally.
