"Razer's Ride" is book one of The Last Riders Series and it's Razer and Beth's opposites attracts story.

What I enjoyed while reading this story was the twists and turns and push and pull of the characters! Sadly there was some noticeable grammatical errors or editing glitches and at times it took away from the story but the colorful characters, primary and secondary kept me interested in this one and wondering about more storylines in the gritty world of The Last Riders MC as well!

I was won over at the end.

A preachers daughter and a member of an MC.

A strange combination but it happened. I did struggle with the story many times and I've read a lot of MC romance.

I have read books were the MC have the club whores, each club gives them different names but in Razors club they have to earn 6 votes then they become a member who then basically serve the members with sex. There are no Old ladies in this club.

To become a member they have to bed any 6 of the original members of ...more

Good book with a lot of supporting characters. I just couldn't wrap my head around everyone sharing everyone. Just glad that Razor for the most part kept his promise to Beth. I would love to read Shades and Lily's story but I am cheap so I will have to wait to see if it goes on sale :) ...more

I am such a SUCKER for MC books..

Beth Cornett is a PK kid desperate to be free taking care of her sister back home since her parents died in a car accident. She comes across as uppity, but I think she is completely misunderstood. One of my best friend is a PK and growing up under the thumb of not wanting to disappoint your father AND God is rough. We learn that The Last Riders moved into town three years ago and with them came Razer. He is not your typical caveman MC character. He loves sex and his MC embraces sexual freedom, which freaks Beth out (at first).

"Just once, Beth wanted to be reckless. To live as other women did and not hear her father’s sermons in her mind for what others considered normal. How could she teach Lily freedom if she wasn’t willing to find it for herself?"

9 months go by and Pastor Dean gives Razer a head's up he plans on asking Beth to marry him. I gathered that they were in the military together and Dean felt like he owed it to Razer. Beth gives Razer another chance and she embarks on a sexual adventure. Going from blushing virgin to a little minx who is into voyeurism.

Someone is trying to kill Beth and seriously it was not hard to figure out who was involved. THAT bitch Sam. However, we do find out that her own father took her baby... Say what? I guessed early on that Loker is actually Viper. Beth is smart enough to stash the evidence to pin Sam's father... he killed Gavin AND took their money from the factory, BUT what does the MC do... NOT A DAMN THING. They don't even visit her in the hospital after she almost died. I expected it from Razer, but not Evie.

WAIT! Memphis killed Gavin... OH. MY. GOD. The video Pastor Dean gave Razer are KILLING me. AH HA, see Loker is Viper. The biker chicks from Destructors that Beth is friends with are cracking me up. The whole bar scene. I can just imagine my head volleying back and forth. Ugh. Okay I get why Razer did what he did. The club needed revenge, but it sucked that it was at the expense of Beth. Razer... you do realize that to become a member Beth will have to sleep with six founding members right??? Oh thank God, Beth got all eight votes (first time in club history).
