What I feel for this book.... well I feel all kinds of things.. I wanted to scream, hurt someone, cry, laugh, love, hate.. so many emotions. This is a dark read with some dark contents but it's an Amo book so you should know how this will go. Beat was one character that you wanted everything good to happen to, she had been through so much. Manik/Aeron was something else... at first I wasn't a fan but then he kinda grew on me once I knew everything. He was loyal and loved hard. He was alpha!! Onc ...more

I don't like people playing in my sandbox.

Aeron Romanov Reed aka Manik. A famous rapper and also the son of a Russian mafia boss and a Vor.

MANIK is gritty, dark, contains scenes of rape and is full of twists, turns and all I love about Amo Jones.

Manik is my new favorite character of hers, I know she writes asshole main character guys and he is no exception...granted he actually is more of an asshole than usual lol, but that just makes for a strong female character to put up with his bullshit. Beatrice is

“You cannot expect the same hands that broke you to be the same ones to fix you. I think that’s where relationships fall apart, through the cracks that are left behind, because not one person truly knows the damage of one’s soul and all the little hairline cracks that can be easily missed unless you are that person.”
