Oh wow! This book ticked all my box's

That cover alone had me one clicking JUSTICE, but the story, I cannot tell you how engrossed I was with Justice and Ryanne's story.

Bossy Alpha, second chance romance, secret baby, hot brothers with a promise of more from the Creed brothers, K.C Lynn has me giddy just thinking about this series now that I have read JUSTICE.

Justice has a sad backstory, he's a young boy in foster care along with two of his two other friends, they look out for each other, protect each other, these friends later make an oath and became brothers when they finally flee the abuse of the Foster parents and the system and begin living on the streets until they are taken in by a guy who then becomes their father.

They all share one common denominator: pain.

The Creed brothers were something to behold in the school halls they were they type of guys every girl wanted to be with. The Creed brothers have a strong family bond and no-one stands in the name of their family.

Ryanne and Justice's relationship begins when they are teens where she first admires from afar until they become more

Ryanne has a completely different upbringing to Justice, she is from a wealthy home with powerful connections within her town but she's also a product of wealth cannot buy you love scenario. Ryanne is also abused by her mother and there's more to that story the further along the plot goes. When Ryanne discovers she is pregnant she flees town afraid her parents would make her abort the baby, she also flees not telling the father because of his play-boy reputation.

Ryanne and Justice's story picks up 6 years later when they are reunited.

"I grew up my whole life without anyone ever loving me and I’ll be damned if I marry a man who doesn’t either."

I loved it, I was captivated with it all, Justice is one bossy protective and swoon-worthy Alpha and I cannot wait for more in this series.

I always need him, his touch, his commanding ability to evoke things in me I’ve never felt, to deliver a mind-numbing pleasure only he can.

KC Lynn outdid herself again! I love love loved this book! Was definitely nervous at first because of the brothers and what they do together, but it turns out I didn’t have to worry about it! Can’t wait to Braxton’s story!! Then Knox’s! I know he’s definitely going to break my heart! Also loved we got the mention of the Men of Honor and Ryder in here :) Hannah was also absolutely adorable!

26 year old Justice Creed lives in Winchester, Mississippi with his two brothers Knox and Braxten. They are a closely bonded unit that was taken in by Thatcher Creed after escaping a group home as teens. Over the years, they were taught to be loyal and fierce when it comes to family. The brothers have a complicated relationship and one person stood chance to change everything. But after one night of passion, she became a ghost to Justice. Years pass and then she suddenly is put on his radar when a shocking betrayal is discovered.

“I’m unable to speak, unable to mutter the same words I feel, too afraid to say them out loud. Instead, I show her. For the first time in my life I make love to someone and know it will always be her. The woman who has undeniably claimed every part of me forever. A woman I will never let go of again.”

24 year old Ryanne Lockwood has lived a quiet life in Cold Creek, Alabama since escaping her hometown as a teen. She was left with no choice and with the help of Thatcher Creed, she was able to be free of the bad memories and burdens of being part of one of the six founding families of Winchester, Mississippi. Ryanne harbors guilt and shame from her past choices, but nothing compared to seeing the tortured face of the man she loves when he found out what she has been hiding all these years.

“‘I’ve waited a long fucking time for this, Ryanne.’ His admission has my heart stalling in my chest. I’m not the only one who has felt this. A connection I can’t explain, a need I can’t escape.”

Is it just me or was a lot of the plot missing? I am not sure if this was done by design to continue in the next two books, but it drove me fucking nuts. The book blurb is very misleading. I would not classify it as a “twist of fate” that brought the hero back into the heroine’s life and not the heroine trying to keep a secret from the hero. She was just plain scared and ashamed of decisions she made. The relationship with the Creed brothers was never explained. Again, this may be by design but my brain is not happy not knowing a single thing as to why they did what they did sexually. It is a little beyond sharing women. Then do not get me started on the missing plot lines. There was so much potential. I will likely pick up the next two to see where things going with an open mind. We shall see.

5 Truly difficult to read stars. This author will sucker punch you right in the face so come prepared with tissues as well as ammunition. I was appalled, furious and broken-hearted with a seed of hope. It's fiction that includes a gritty reminder the world has evil and hate close at hand but it can be denied victory. We are able to choose to separate ourselves from the dark.

Some of the book may seem old and behind time but it's not. There are simply places in the world that mock time seemingly standing still as the remainder of the planet spins onward. So much good and wonder can be found in such places. However equal amounts of disturbing things can go unnoticed or looked away from out of fear or despondency.

The H is alpha male (Justice Creed) and heart throb of a smaller southern town. He along with his brothers of no relation seem to have their pick of the ladies. Let's just say they have always "shared" until the h, little Ryanne Lockwood turns 18. There is no sharing for Justice when it comes to Ryanne.

But it's not a raging full on fairytale. Justice and his brothers Braxton and Knox were run away kids. The boys were taken in by Thatcher Creed when he found them up to no good on his property while Ryanne is part of one of towns founding families. Unfortunately the small town is one of the places where once you are just a "no count" run away, you never shed that. Young ladies from a "founding family" never shed the expectation of status and Ryanne especially will never be allowed to disgrace her mother.

Never able to please her mother Ryanne has always felt loved and always felt out of place with the snobbery and unkindness in her family. She has had a crush on Justice since she laid eyes on him and never felt as though he was beneath her status. When she turns 18 all her dreams come true when she finally finds herself in his arms but it's over before it begins. She disappears like a ghost in the night and Justice has no clues where to search for six years.

Everything blows up in their lives as they are reunited to broken hearts and faded dreams. They are farther apart than ever before and will have to overcome a mountain of deceit and deception to make any headway. You have to read their story to understand.
