A sensational, heartwarming and heartbreaking journey. A bitter sweet Rock-star romance.

Firstly that cover, I can stare at that all day, its absolutely beautiful and fits Spencer so well, from the moment this cover caught my eye, I knew this was going to be a gem of a read and I wasn't wrong.

Over you is an emotional journey, the story of two teenagers who fell in love and were thrust into the limelight and fame as Spencer made it big with his band.

Over you is an emotional journey, the story of two teenagers who fell in love and were thrust into the limelight and fame as Spencer made it big with his band.

Two teenagers who had come from nothing and now had everything, but with the fame came temptation especially for Spencer who went down a dark path of addiction and Georgia who loved him with all her heart had to make a decision before she became even more broken after seeing Spencer spiral down and down time and time again.

"Georgia Anne was a salvation for my heart and an enemy to my addiction"

When Georgia leaves hoping Spenser would wake up, get clean and prove his prove for her was more than precious than the drugs that had taken hold of him, it didn't exactly go to plan. Addiction is a strong pull that even the heart can't sometimes fight.

"We were a broken record on repeat, and the song was driving me insane".

This is a story about those battles, about love sometimes not being strong enough once the addiction takes hold, for it to take just that one person to be strong enough for both, their strength when they are weak, and a story about second chances that creates a whirlwind and chaos of emotions but behind the chaos is also a beautiful love story.

"At one time, Spencer scribbled love notes to me on these gum wrappers, and now he wrote empty promises.

"I’d promised her I’d clean up. She had promised she’d never leave. Drugs and love had made liars of us both".

I absolutely adore books that take you on a journey, that make you feel like your right there with the characters, even in their moments of anguish my heart broke and then my heart sang for Georgia and Spencer, this truly is an emotional journey and brilliantly written by Stevie J. Cole.

"At seventeen, I moved in with Spencer. By eighteen, we were married. By twenty-two, I was lost. Without purpose. And at twenty-six, I understood that fairy tales may not exist but love stories do".

I want more, I want more from this band, more from the other characters, to see more of Georgia and Spencer and I'm crossing my fingers and toes that this will happen.
Told in first person dual pov, leads to a hea and has definitely no cheating for you cheating phoebes.
