Thomas King is a Canadian Native Literature genius. The novel tells the stories of many characters from various walks of life- a CEO of an elite Toronto company, a depressed scientist who caused a major environmental disaster trying to come to terms with his actions, a dog who comes to those who are in need of an unbiased friend- and how their lives overlap and influence each other.
