My literary New Years Resolution this year is to read a minimum of 20 novels by the end of the year. I have chosen many novels from different authors and genres based on my Goodreads to-read shelf. I have also chosen some novels I have wanted to read for a while now and some I only heard about recenty. I am excited to move many of these from my to-read shelf to my read shelf by the end of the year.
I have been interested in reading the Divergent Series since I saw the first movie a few years ago and I've decided I'm finally going to read the book series this year. I got some Indigo gift cards over Christmas which I used to order the books online. The boxed set I ordered includes the main trilogy plus the Divergent novel Four, all of which I intend to read within the next several months. I was drawn to the movies because of the dystopian world created on screen and I am eager to see how the books compare. Even though I have seen the first two movies I look forward to seeing what the series has in store, especially in the last installment. Based on the first two movies, I'm sure I won't be disappointed.
