This is the seventh and final book in Ian Pears’ Jonathan Argyll Series. Fortunately, you don’t need to have read any of the previous books in order to understand or enjoy this one.

It can't be easy to end a mystery series in a way that clearly sums up the stories and yet leaves the reader happy. The author did a good job, surprising me with the revelations of some MCs but still satisfying my expectations. In fact, I consider this one of the best ever final books in a series, and I've always kept an eye out for more book about Flavia, Jonathan and their cohorts. To no avail. :(
