Benzer öyküler bir Türk yazarın kaleminden "Ankaralılar" diye çıkabilirdi. böyle düşündüm okurken. Bir tarafı Avrupa'ya dönük, bir tarafı milliyetçi, muhafazakar orta sınıf insanları.
Çok gerçekçi. çok yalın olmasına rağmen okunması kolay değil. Çaba gerektiriyor. Bazı öyküleri iki defa okudum. "İdarehanede Ulusal Bayram Günü" adlı öyküyü ise sıkıldım, bitiremedim.

I was very excited when I started reading this book however it took 1 month to finish. maybe I'll read it one more time in a few years.
Only story I remember is "Eveline".
(this edition has 70pg of notes on stories, if you read every note in the story you'll get lost in the notes, if you don't read the notes you miss things. maybe before the 2nd reading I'll start with the notes) ...more
