The best pedagogical grammar of MSA ever written. It is however not exactly a reference grammar which is served for well by the Routledge comprehensive grammar and 'Modern Literary Arabic- A Reference Grammar' by Ron Buckley. It is full of exercises and a supplementary textbook is available separately that contains the keys. The vocabulary is quite extensive comprising about 4000 items. A must for any arabic learner!
