I must say when I say this book in the library I got it and immediately jumped into reading it. I've been watching it for a long time in book stores and finally I had the opportunity to read it.
And I'm thankful I didn't get it.
The book was a read to escape reality but just to enter a more dark and depressing one. I didn't enjoy Rachel's point of view or that she was the main character. She is was not enjoyable, she was always negative, brooding and made assumptions on people she knew nothing a ...more

Talk about a book that pulls you in and keeps you hooked till the very end! I was a little upset with Rachael inability to realize her drinking needed to stop but then again it did help the story from time to time. The ending was a huge shock but a great twist all the same. Great read and though it's in the same group as gone girls it's no where near the same books; it stands on its own and was so much more captivating!

Ahh, I do hate to give bad reviews, but alas, I could not finish this book. I stopped at about page 90.
I just couldn't relate to the protagonist. I'm not an alcoholic at rock bottom, and there was nothing about her life, lifestyle, personality or angst that I found remotely relatable or likable. My sympathy was only slight enough for me to read as far as I did.

This was interesting. I read this after watching the movie trailer. I thought that I might want to see the movie, but should check out the book first. This book is definitely not a happy book. It's about a whole lot of bad people. I didn't even feel bad for Rachel, for the most part. All these lives that have twisted together, I guess it's true what they say, you always hurt the ones you love.

Once I got through the first 50 pages and figured out that the story was actually being written in first person by three different women I was riveted and couldn't put the book down. It was edge of my seat thriller the entire time. The only reason I'm not giving it five stars is because of all the spelling errors. This is a major pet peeve.

I don't know what to say.
I can't even rate this book. It's awful and awesome at the same time, but it made me physically ill reading it so I stopped halfway through.
