Listened to Random House Audio edition narrated by Edward Herrmann.
If we weren't reading this for book club, I never would have read it. I also probably wouldn't have made it through it if I wasn't listening to it, but that is about me not the book. I thought it was really well done. The concept of the amount of research that went into this and then how much work it must have been to sort out the throughlines - what to include, what to leave out - is just amazing to me. Outstanding book and very fast read. The book gave me a lot to think about and remind myself that life isn't about what you do for yourself but what you do for others.
