EDIT 9/12/18: I totally forgot to add my thoughts on the movie when I first saw it. So here's some thoughts now; it enraged me. Like if you think of the book and movie as two separate things, I can deal. The movie isn't so bad then. But when you think about them together it. just. pisses. me. off.

I watched the movie first, which then made me want to read the book.
For everyone that always says "The book was better" or "The Movie was better" those arguments are completely invalid for me with this title, because BOTH were amazing in their own ways.
The book has a lot of the older games, because of the time frame and age of the author, me growing up with older siblings and at the big rise of videogaming in the 90's I recognized a lot of the pop culture within the book. What the movie tried ...more
