Brb buying this book right now.
So first of all, my co-worker had been suggesting this to me for the past year and I figured I needed to get a start on my 2018 reading challenge suggestions, so I selected 'Uprooted' since it was currently available at the library. OH BOY DID I FALL DOWN THIS RABBIT HOLE FAST.

Unique, female main character, fantasy, dark, YA-ish, fairy-tale tropes, a really interesting story with unexpected twists and turns and memorable characters.
