click here.I generally like cozy romances and mysteries, and I picked this one up for something light to read for fall and because I love cupcakes and pumpkin spice. However, the characters were pretty flat and undeveloped in this cozy mystery; the murderer was very obvious a little over halfway through; gender stereotypes were ever present throughout; and the red herrings were not convincing enough to throw the reader off the scent.
