I have already recommended and given this book to so many people, but I loved it so much I plan to keep doing so over and over again. It starts out and it's oh so charming and funny with interesting world building and characters. Then it takes a turn and things gets darker and morally complicated and EVEN BETTER. Then there's the art which has so many clever details, but I particularly love how Nimona herself is drawn. The story is complete in itself, but I can't help hoping we'll see more from

It was fascinating to see how this graphic novel was adapted to audio. The sound effects added dimension and helped cover for some of the visual storytelling that couldn't be translated to this format. Still loved the story and the narration by Rebecca Soler, Jonathan Davis and Marc Thompson was excellent. Not at all surprised this was an Odyssey Honor title.
