I was not very familiar with Amy before and I'm not sure if I'd like to know more about her after this.

I listened this as an audio book read by Amy herself. I liked listening it, it had some hilarious bits, some serious bits that I wasn't expecting and got me thinking but there were also quite a lot boring bits. I think I'm in the minority here but I was not a fan of those journal entries with footnotes from 2016, I found them boring.. At times she also came across as pretty self-indulgent whic ...more

Great book!!

I am a fan of Amy Schumer and I was really excited to get my hands on this book. I watched her on Last Comic Standing and SNL hut really fell in love with her on her movie Trainwreck
She is honest and charasmatic and hilarious in this collection for memories about her life and how she got where she is now. She also touched on some serious issues that she is passionate about that I too think about. I laughed quite a bit and enjoyed this raw telling of her story.

I can appreciate her humor and rawness with the cards she has been dealt with. Im glad she is holding the print media accountable regarding their attitude towards women's weight and body image. If there is anyone I would want to be my champion, it is Amy Schumer.
She's a cools, strong, vocal, and articulate lady who has a whole lot more projects to do. ...more
