Fascinating first half, second quarter was somewhat boring and too much into the weeds, last quarter pretty good.
It never occurred to me how much influence Luther's writings had on the printing industry of his time. From fledgling to full-throttle, Luther's work increased the lives of countless men and women as his words were put on paper and sold to the commoners and elite of his day. This is a well written, enlightening piece of work by Pettegree and is well worth your time.
