A helpful primer on heretics and heresies in the early church with a focus on Nicene Orthodoxy, that is, a biblical understanding of the Triune God. Each chapter includes historical background, heretical teaching, orthodox response, and contemporary relevance. The last section was particularly useful as it demonstrates where the heretical ideas remain alive and well today.
