Revival was book molasses for me. It took me forever to get through it. It was a good read, but mostly because it was written by Stephen King. There is something about his writing that just feels so darn right. It's a place I love to be.

Unfortunately, my expectations stemmed entirely from this blurb:

This rich and disturbing novel spans five decades on its way to the most terrifying conclusion Stephen King has ever written.

Lo comencé a leer sin saber de qué iba y wow no esperaba que me gustara tanto. Es increíblemente lento, probablemente yo lo sentí más porque ni siquiera sabía que es lo que estaba esperando pero se hace patente desde el principio los elementos importantes de la trama.
Se menciona Joyland,del que tampoco sé nada, pero ahora acaba de subir en mi lista de prioridades por leer.

32. The first book you see in a book store.

Well, this was kinda weird, and I'm not sure how to rate it nor what to say about this book. I've saved some quotes on my kindle, and it sure as hell kept me entertained and wondering what'd happen next. Still, it lacked something, and the beginning was a tad too slow.

Muy bueno. Clásico Stephen King, un gran desarrollo del personaje que nos va relatando su historia, a quien vemos crecer, con todo lo que conlleva. Lo inquietante se va revelando de a poco, la historia va soltando pistas sobre ello; y luego están las tragedias, lo inesperado / injusto tan similar a la vida. El final… en definitiva, sigue demostrado que King es un maestro al escribir, eso sin duda.
