I enjoyed reading House of Furies. It was a bit more fantasy than I was expecting. I think the new paperback cover suits the story more than the original hardback cover.
It's hard for me to talk about House of Furies without spoiling the best parts so I can really only tell you I had a fun time reading it. House of Furies was a great first book in a series. There was plenty to make me happy I have the rest of the series, but I also felt satisfied that I got a complete story.

2020 Reading Challenge: #20. Un libro que escogiste por el título
Es más bien un 3.5
En un ratito más haré una mini reseña que hay cosas que debo mencionar.
Pero en general estuvo bien, hace mucho que no me leía un libro en tan poco tiempo.poco tiempo para mí xD

Una muy grata sorpresa, se lee de forma muy ligera y rápida (aunque yo fui leyendo por pedacitos), pero ya quiero seguir con esta saga. No sé si no está muy bien traducido, o si es la escritura de Madeleine (me inclino más por la primera opción), pero encontré algunos errores que me sacaron del trance en el que estaba.

Tarde mucho para terminar el libro y es que Louisa, la protagonista es bien insufrible.Me gusta mucho la trama de un lugar tenebroso y me gusto aun mas el tema del origen de la gente que trabaja en el hotel, y mi necesitad de un ship dentro del libro hizo que prefiriera al Mr. Morningside con Louisa que Lee.El libro es de un genero diferente al que estoy acostumbrada y puedo decir que es mas terror que lit gotica, por que toda la atmósfera que se lee, respira y se siente dentro del libro es ...more
