Varias personas me habían recomendado este libro, pero tenía mis dudas, porque las casas encantadas me gustan un montón, y puedo decepcionarme muy rápido.
Sin embargo, ha estado mejor de lo que esperaba: el desarrollo de los personajes, y cómo van perdiéndose en la locura de la casa, la propia historia de la mansión y la atmósfera que prevalece en los alrededores.

Qué triste, tanta promesa, tanta expectativa, al menos un cuarto del libro se trata de recopilar las proezas del dueño de la casa, los horrores que pasaron en ella por años y años. Pero al final termina siendo un poco más que la resolución de un capítulo de Scooby Doo. Ni mencionar las constantes recopilaciones y análisis de lo que acaba de pasar hace un capitulo atrás, sin aportar nada nuevo. Esto hace que el libro se vuelva muy lento y tedioso.

Espeluznante! tambien ayudó a que lo fui leyendo todas las noches y termine psicoseada escuchando todo tipo de cosas XD. Mis gatos colaboraron pasando por mis pies, mientras se me ponían los pelos de punta!. D:

Every year around this time I read horror books so, this was one of my picks. I've been meaning to read it for a long time and only now got to it.
Favorite character: Florence and Benjamin. I liked their kindness.
Least favorite character: Dr. Barrett, I found him stubborn.
Favorite part: The way everything starts to manifest in the house and how each character starts getting involved.
Least favorite part: the ending... it felt... simple and a little bit rushed... I don't know.

No logró atraparme.
No me interesaban los personajes así que cualquier peligro en el que estuvieran no me afectaba para nada y su final m dejó indiferente.
